I'm so excited to be sharing a few images of the Juliet floral arch I created for Nikki and Andrew's wedding yesterday!
It was an absolute pleasure working so closely with our gorgeous bride Nikki in the lead up to her wedding day - she is an absolutely beautiful person inside and out. And most importantly, I'm ecstatic about the end result of how the arch looked and how much the bride and groom and their families loved the arch!
The arch was placed on the inside of the re...ception room so it made an exciting entrance for everyone entering as they ducked under the hanging roses and snap dragons!
The fresh scent of gum branches filled the hallway and right into the reception room and was the scent of the night!
The arch also made a beautiful back drop in photos as the newly weds and the wedding party couples made their grand entrances to the reception!
Many guests also had pictures taken underneath as it's such a unique experience!
The flower choice worked really well with the decor of the room, and the whole look of the arch was quite a 'feature' in the room and impactful in the overall design.
At the end of the reception, it was quite sad taking down the arch, but I had a great time giving out some of the flowers to guests to take home with them! They were all very excited!
A huge thank you to Nikki and Andrew for giving me this opportunity, and also for your kind thank you to me in your speech! xx
Thank you to Paul for his help on Saturday - 4 hours to get 90% of the arch complete! Yep a big pat on the back to you!
The Sebel Resort & Spa in Hawkesbury Valley were so fabulous letting me claim one of their spare conference rooms the whole weekend for the set up - so thank you to them for being so accommodating and to Lara for being a wonderful point of contact for me!
And last but not least, many thank you's to the kind muscle men who helped lifting the arch from room to room - Cesar, Greg, Lindley and Aaron! You definitely have assisted with my muscles not being too sore today!
Please keep an eye out for the professional photos of the completed arch to follow in the next few weeks! When I mean complete - I mean complete with a beautiful gushing bride underneath!
